Man looks for something to keep him busy as if he were created without a purpose or a job. If man knew the wisdom of his creation, he would never reach for anything of this dunya. The Disciples asked for a table from Heavens as if everything they were eating was not from Heavens. But Man is "ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا - unjust and ignorant" (33:72). Through the funny example of "My Cats", Mawlana shows how man can learn, if he wants, even from a cat. A cat exists through the love of its owner, and knows its priorities and does not waste its time.
