Some brothers from Saudi Arabia heard about Mawlana from the Internet and came to meet him. They brought Mawlana a piece of the cover of Prophet's (sas) holy grave in Medina. Mawlana made a strong dua for the one who brought it. Then Mawlana directed a general criticism to Saudis and gave them some important advice. Mawlana also recalled some of his memories in Riyadh. "With Some Saudis - مع إخوان من السعودية".
What Is the Main Goal?
Jun10 2011 Arabic
Mawlana was asked about the young people in Egypt who, for the sincere love of their country, are willing to, and did, sacrifice everything to free their people from poverty and oppression. How can these young ones succeed in their intentions and be rewarded for their deeds. Mawlana posed an important question: "What Is the Main Goal? - ما هو الهدف الرئيسي".
There Is No Harm or Damage in Islam
Jun09 2011 Arabic
One day after Fajr, Mawlana asked about the difference in meaning that a native Arabic speaker would understand between the two words: "ضرر" (harm) and "ضِرار" (the exchange of the verb - in this case "the harm" - between two parties). This will shed some light on the meaning and the value of the Prophet's (sas) hadith (saying): "There Is No Harm or Damage in Islam - لا ضرر و لا ضِرار في الإسلام". There is no redundancy in Prophet's (sas) speech - Astaghfirullah, Never!

Do Whatever You Will (41:40)
May31 2011 Arabic
"Do Whatever You Will - اعملوا ما شئتم" is one of the holy verses which Mawlana recited in his address to Shaykh Hisham Effendi, few days ago, about the on-going tragedies in the Muslim World. Mawlana said that Allah (swt) tells His servants that they are free to do what they like but that does not mean that they will not have to account for their deeds. And in it lies the secret of Divine Justice and of the Divine Promise to support to believers.

As You Have Seduced Me (7:16)
May30 2011 Arabic
Haji Fadia, more than 30-year murid from Lebanon, after fajr prayer, asked Mawlana an important question. She said that many brothers and sisters continue with whatever bad habits they have, such as smoking, drinking, etc. and if they are criticized, they give the argument, "If Allah wants me to change, He would have changed me. If Allah wants me to leave this habit, He would have made me leave it. I am only a follower of the Divine will and schedule." Mawlana answered this critical point in the clearest, simplest and most conclusive way." As You Have Seduced Me - بما أغويتني".
For Each Is a Direction toward Which It Faces (2:148)
May27 2011 Arabic
After Fajr prayer, Mawlana asked Haji Fadia, an old mureed from Lebanon, about the position of Druze in Lebanon and said that they have a quality that he admires very much. Mawlana also explained that each nation has its unique, distinctive qualities, "For Each Is a Direction toward Which It Faces - وَ لِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا" and the dangers of becoming cosmopolitan.
They Will Not Cease to Differ
May24 2011 Arabic
The goal of all the political and social laws in Shari'at (Islamic Divine Law) is to allow the people to live together a good life under the flag of Islam. The Shari’at maintains both: the unity of the Ummah (the nation) and the diversity of its subjects. All materialist ideologies, however, whether it's democratic, socialist or whatever you want to call it, with its lack of spirituality and the absence of the Divine, can never give meaning, value or perspective to the diversity of humanity; and therefore the spread of political unrest and social chaos everywhere. Mawlana in his unique and exquisite way explains it all with an amazing reference to the Holy verse, "They Will Not Cease to Differ - ولا يزالون مختلفين".
The Age of Miracles
May20 2011 Arabic
Mawlana was asked also about the green figure seen in Tahrir Square in Cairo, riding on a horse, going between the masses, and then disappearing in the sky. Mawlana declares that "The Age of Miracles - عصر الخوارق" has started. Mawlana also explains an important difference in attitude between Muslims and Christians in our present day.

Do Not Kill Yourselves
May16 2011 Arabic
Mawlana spoke about those who kill others, kill themselves, carry out suicidal attacks or expose themselves to death by going out in protests. Mawlana explains the position of each of these groups from the Quranic Command, "Do Not Kill Yourselves - و لا تقتلوا أنفسكم". In this important Sohbat Mawlana explicitly points out Edeb as a main pillar in religion and Tariqat and the context for thinking and judgement.
The Edeb of Giving Sohbat and of Addressing the People
May16 2011 Arabic
Talking about Edeb Mawlana mentions the Edeb he is ordered to follow when about to give Sohbat or address the people. When Shaykh Hisham mentioned that GrandShaykh's (qs) Sohbats were much longer, Mawlana said no and mentions something about GrandShaykh's (qs) Sohbats. We kept this part of the Sohbat as an independent short video, "The Edeb of Giving Sohbat and of Addressing the People - آداب الخطاب و الصحبة ", to make sure that its value is not melting in the ocean of the big Sohbat.
