Rarely has Mawlana spoken about the life in the grave and what it can carry for its owner from punishment or reward. This makes tonight's sohbat a very special one. In this sohbat too, Mawlana again and again urges Jubbeli Ahmad Hoja to stop talking about abstract theoretical issues and theological debates, and, instead, to deal with issues that have immediate influence on the daily reality of every Muslim.

Mawlana started "Ramazan Sohbetleri" (The Ramadan Sohbats). Everyday he gives a sohbat in Turkish. He calls Baba Tahsin (from the Black sea region) and Haji Kamaludin (from Anatolia) to attend these sohbats and be directly addressed by him as representatives of their people. Mawlana addresses Jubbeli Ahmat Effendi, an eminent Imam and preacher in Istanbul who give daily well-viewed religious lessons on Turkish TV. Mawlana directs him as to what and how to address the people in order to achieve the best benefit for Islam and Muslims. These sohbats are very lively. They deal with very important social and religious issues but in an incredible ironical style to show the people where their wrong behaviors, beliefs and ideas would finally take them. Mawlana does not give permission to translate every sohbat of these however, because some are very Turkish in their subject matter and style. Today's sohbat is translated, "Oruç Tutunuz! - Fast! - !صوموا".

Mawlana mentions the 40 Spiritual Beings, guardians of Sham, and how they were looking at the Preserved Tablet for the Divine order and now the purpose of the present fitna is clean Sham from the Sufiyyanis. Because of the important nature of this sohbat, "The Appointment of Shaykh Mohammad in Sham Sherif - تعيين شيخ محمد في الشام الشريف" we asked Mawlana specifically about it, if we should broadcast it or not. We received the following email: saudis delayed the hijri calendar by one day. pl. Inform His Highness Sh. Nazim, that I had been verifying saudi hijri dates till 12th October, till that time it was haj akbar, but 15th October they changed the date , and 15th and 16th October both days the hijri date is 18th Zulqad. They delayed the calendar by one day so that there is no chance of Haj akbar. I have the scanned newspapers for 15th and 16th october. Then we found an old clip, filmed on the 28th of July, in which Mawlana speaks about the same point. Mawlana gave permission to broadcast this video. Mawlana, however, said that the dates in this sohbat are spiritual dates and that everyone should observe the official dates for the Day of Arafat and of Eid declared by their communities and have full trust in Allah.

Mawlana asked Shaykh Kayyal, the visiting 'Alim from Sham Sherif, if there is Monasticism in Islam. Is Monasticism permissible in Islam? What is the true meaning of monasticism? "And a Monasticism They Invented, We Have Not Made It Obligatory on Them (57:27) - و رهبانية ابتدعوها ما كتبناها عليهم". This Ayat proves that there is something for the nation of the Beloved (sas) to learn from it.

In a video filmed a couple of months ago, Mawlana related some stories about the Shaykhs at the time of Grandshaykh, Shaykh Abdullah ad-Daghestani (أعلى الله تعالى درجاته دائماً - May Allah always raise his degrees) and the Adab and appreciation they had for each other. Mawlana explained to his guest, a Syrian scholar, that there are many true shaykhs but what distinguishes the Grandshaykhs of the Golden Chain is "The Great Secret - السر الأعظم".
