We must train our egos to keep other people’s rights safe. Mawlānā Shaykh was given the title Ḥaqqānī because he was very careful of this. He said better to be oppressed than to oppress. In this world there is no justice. Even Muslims who claim to be pure are taking others’ rights. Ask Allāh’s ﷻ protection from this and the harm it causes here and hereafter.

How to Make Allāh ﷻ Happy with Us

To be a real believer, our Prophet ﷺ said, everything you do must be acceptable to Allāh ﷻ and on His ﷻ way. The ṣaḥābah were doing this one hundred percent. Allāh ﷻ was happy with them. But we can barely do one percent, so what can we do to make Allāh ﷻ happy with us? Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, we can ask Him ﷻ for forgiveness and to accept what we do.

The Rights of Workers

Allāh ﷻ gave us two days for feasting, but people keep inventing something new. Today they are saying it is Workers’ Day. If Allāh ﷻ gave you work to do, you should be thankful every day – not just one day. Give your workers their rights every day, as the Prophet ﷺ said. Accept this and be thankful, and everyone will have enough.
