Ramaḍān is the most blessed month of the year. Fasting helps control the ego, and makes the body healthy and Allāh ﷻ gives from His ﷻ light. If you miss a day its rewards cannot be made up at any other time so be careful.
Follow the Authority of Your Country

For determining the ‘Īd of Ramaḍān follow the authority in your country. To start fasting it is all right to fast extra days and to begin with others who begin earlier but to end you must end with your country. We have four Madhāhib each showing right ways. They will only be one when Mahdī (as) comes.

The Muslim rulers from the time of the Prophet ﷺ through Ottoman times, ruled with justice and mercy. They were humble and they followed shaykhs. Now there are few sincere, mostly they are tyrants. Sayyidinā Mahdī (as) will come soon, in shā’a Llāh.
