To honour your commitments, to keep your word, to be loyal to those who have benefited you (wafā’) is a part of the adab of the Prophet ﷺ and the mashāyikh. People today change their allegiance. The Qur’ān gives an example of this in the story of Mūsá (as) and Qārūn. Do not trust and do not help these people.
