Mawlānā recites the āyah (36:13) – “and present for them an example” to teach man about his life. Everyday Allāh ﷻ gives the example of the sun, rising laughing, reaching perfection, and then setting crying. Man’s life is the same. So leave dunyā and its fashions. Think about the reality of life.

The Meaning of ‘Renaissance’
Aug05 2010 English 35min
The Salafīyūn want to be modern and western in their clothing and in their thinking and they call the Ṣūfīs fanatics because they make Dhikr and because they are old fashioned. They want a ‘Renaissance’ for Islām. But Renaissance means no respect for the elders and the past. No respect, no Islām. Mawlānā shows the difference between Tawqīr and Takbīr.

Heavenly Courses
Aug04 2010 English 39min
The Muslim world should be ashamed for giving priority to Western courses in their universities and leaving the heavenly courses delivered by the Qur’ān. They leave teaching about the Creator and teach instead about the Big Bang.
