We all live in the same atmosphere, the same world, whether rich or poor, except for those whose love for Allāh makes them real believers, Awliyā’. For them Allāh makes a different world, unaffected by this life. Look for them, look for the ones who remind you of eternal life and hold on to them tightly.
You Are One Nation
In this old sohbet Mawlānā speaks of wisdom that applies to the current events in Turkey. The Muslims are one nation but they have become divided and weak. Allāh’s hand of power is with those whose hearts and goals are one.
Without Shāh-i Naqshband there would not be the highest ṭarīqah of them all, the ṭarīqah of the kings and ṣulṭāns. Awliyā’ like him are transmitters of divine blessing. Being in their presence, whether dead or alive, brings benefit.
The Naqshbandi Tariqa
The Naqshbandi Tariqa is the only way that is still alive because it can carry the burden of this time. The Mevlevi is only for show. The Naqshbandi has authority to train the elite. S. Mahdi (as) will be Naqshbandi and all his deputies.
Fasting and the Ego
Lordship is only for the One Who creates. How can the ego claim, “I am, I do, I make?” Denying such ‘lordship’ makes your Lord happy. By His Grace are things done. Fasting is not cruelty but His order to make the ego come under control because ego fears hunger the most.
Nimrod and the Lame Mosquito
Allah claims a man’s soul, saying to the angel, “Bring him to Me”. When man makes claims it is foolish, moreover dangerous. Who can challenge Allah? Nimrod claimed mightiness on Earth. His punishment, an army of mosquitos. Demolishing his soldiers, one tiny mosquito entered his head to finish him off.
Returning to Our Lord
The recitation of Al-Fatiha by our Glorious Lord opened endless Divine Mercy Oceans. We were with our Lord at that opening. So, be patient and enjoy yourself despite all of life’s troubles. What awaits your return will delight you. A flying fish darts up momentarily, then, disappears into the vast ocean.
Shukr Ya Rabbi
People understand favours only when they are gone. What should we do? Say the blessed words: “Shukr Ya Rabbi, Alhamdulillah”. They please Allah and are proof of man’s pleasure with his Lord. Favours and shukr are linked. Forget to give shukr and favours depart. Allah will not question those who constantly give shukr.
Whom Should I love?
Religion means to love for Allah and to not love for Allah. The angels accept Allah is Wise and, He teaches. The young must keep the safe way of the holy-ones and stop following idols otherwise ahead in their lives they face much danger. Why are they in trouble? Their hearts love those whom Allah doesn’t love.
To the Divine Presence
Those seeking knowledge about the galaxies must first acknowledge and praise the Lord of the Universes. Otherwise describing the Horsehead Galaxy is just imagination. Our duty is to be humble servants and receive honour. With the methods given to us by the Almighty, we may approach Divine Presence, using spiritual power.
Islam Brings Discipline
People in the west think they are free and resist any discipline. But without discipline you cannot advance. Islam brings discipline. Even to say Allah’s name 100 times a day will result in amazing changes.
Kill Your Dragon
Our only purpose is to give our love, respect and service to Allah but if given the opportunity every person would be a pharaoh. His ego would declare itself the highest lord. We must kill the dragon that is our ego and then we will find Allah with us and around us and within us.
Perfect Communities on Earth
Allah’s Greatness cannot be imagined. He uses perfect methods. He chose Sayyidina Muhammad (sas) for only one mission: To create perfect communities on Earth. His tribe could not accept an orphan then, now too, mankind cannot understand his importance. However, signs of perfection will appear both in the East and the West.
Harun Rashid and Ibn Arabi
If you obey your nafs you cannot obey Allah. If you do not obey Allah how can you call yourself a Muslim? When we are calling ourselves Muslim we are lying and no good can come of the deeds of the liar. The Awliya have great authority given them by Allah because they obey Him. They must help those in need. Who doesn't respect the Awliya is astray. Mawlana tells the story of the meeting of Sultan Harun ar-Rashid with the saint Ibn Arabi.
Knowledge and Arms
Mawlana directs this talk towards young believers. He encourages them to strike against unbelief and non-believers using the way of knowledge, just as the Prophet initially used logic and reason against the polytheists of Mecca. The time to bear arms will come only when the one who holds full authority gives that order to all Muslims.
You Do Not Know It!
Mawlana discusses the disrespect that the alims, the imams and the mu’azins show toward the Prophet (sas) by not giving salawats after the azan. He reveals the true nature of the Wahabi movement and their age-old disrespect for the Prophet of Allah (sas).
The Prophet, sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam sent the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius an invitation to Islam. Heraclius nevertheless was not to be blessed with Islam, despite acknowledging Islam as a religion of Truth and our Master as the True Prophet.
The Last Breath
Faith is a gift from Allah that is given to everyone but the time of its appearance is different. For some it only appears at the last breath when Allah takes His servant to Himself.
